Template/Extension License: Questions & Answers

Q1: I purchased the template/extension with "Single domain" option, but I need to install it to my development server for testing and customization which has a different domain. What should I do?
A1: You don't need to do anything, just go head and do. Domain Validation is not an automatic system, we are peridically (usually once a month) check the domains that use our template/extension, and compare them in the "allowed domains" in our backend. If we see suspicous activity, first we contact the license owner and let him/her know about this situation. If no response in 5 business days; we take an action and "copyright criminal" banner shows off on the website. If the website is hosted in a domain, something like: http://test.domain.com, http://www.domain.com/user1/something or http://localhost/  it is obvious that this is a development server (we are also designer and totally understand this situation, every live website has at least one development server/domain). YOU ARE FREE TO INSTALL THE TEMPLATE/EXTENSION AS MANY DOMAIN AS YOU WISH FOR TESTING PURPOSES. Only running and live websites are affected from the domain regulation.

Q2: What does "Single Domain" Mean?
A2: You are buying the template/extension to use it in 1 live and running domain (www.yourdomain.com) only. If you wish to install the template/extension on another domain you need to purchase another license for that domain.

Q3: What does "Unlimited Domains" Mean?
A3: You are allowed to use the template/extension as many live and running website as you wish. No domain regulation at all.

Q4: What about the updates?
A4: You can download the final versions of template/extensions anytime within 6-months (180 days) if your license includes +Free Update options. So you will be eligible to get the updates for free whenever you want within 6-months (180 days). We keep improving our template/extensions, adding extra stuff and making them compatible with the new Virtuemart Versions that comes out... so stay tuned and always have the latest version!

Q5: How do you handle the support?
A5: Regardless of the license you picked, the free support is 6-months. We are providing free support for all kind of bugs/problems/installation problems/conflicts. We are taking our DEMO as reference, if the template/extension works on your server exactly how it works on the DEMO page, our free-support ends there. Additionally; any kind of custom changes/modifications are beyond our free support. We don't provide free support or step-by-step instructions for custom coding modifications. You may purchase premium support service hours at anytime and let us take care the modifications/customizations you ask directly on your website. If some particular problems/bugs are patched with an update, and if you are not eligible to receive the updates for free (because of your free-update license has expired or you didn't purchase at all) then we won't be providing free-support for your case.

Q6: I have 2 different domain names such as; www.domain1.com, www.domain2.com but they are linked to same exact web site.
A6: Then, 1 domain license is enough for your case. As long as the domains are linked to same exact websites (can be in different languages), "1 domain" license is enough.

Q7: I am holding Single Domain license for www.domain1.com, what if i decide to change my domain from www.domain1.com to www.domain2.com . Do i need to repurchase a license for my new domain?
A7: No. You can still use your old license. Contact us and let us know this situation. We will investigate your case, correct the domain name and you will be good to go. BUT BEFORE MOVING YOUR WEBSITE TO YOUR NEW DOMAIN NAME; DON'T FORGET TO LET US KNOW TO AVOID ANY POSSIBLE BREAK DOWN.

Q8: Is it possible to change the domain name(s) after the purchase has been made?
A8: Yes. But first you should eliminate the template/extension from the old domain completely then contact us and let us know the new domain.
