I don't know when this started, but we received an order that has the size and colour repeated so many times on the invoice, and it appears it is happening in the cart.

I believe what is happening is if there are 3 colour options, it will display the chosen option 3 times. I figure this because there are many colour options for the first 2 screenshots (I had to zoom out and take a screenshot halfway because the list is very long) and for the 3rd screenshot, the option that says "Clear" 3 times has only 3 colour options.

That's really weird. But i can tell you from those screenshots; this can't be related to our template. There must be something wrong with the settings in the backend.

What happens when you disable the CleanMart and get back to official Virtuemart Layout?

To temporarily disable the CleanMart
1- rename this folder:
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/
to this:
templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart2/

2- Unpublished this plugin: "Flexible VM3 Template"

and then check the cart page AGAIN.. If the result is the same, then it means there is something with your Virtuemart Core; you have to check the custom field settings in the Virtuemart Backend. Try to remove the custom field and add again.

It still shows the same amount of lines when I follow your instructions. I will do some more digging into custom fields and virtuemart.

I believe the problem is caused by the "custom fields plugin" you use. If it is the default custom-fields plugin (that comes with Virtuemart), then try updating it by installing the Virtuemart AIO component. Also, you may try to update the Virtuemart Core Component as well.

If it is a 3rd party custom-field, try contacting the developer of that custom field plugin.
