I've got a hard question for you.

When showing a multi variant custom field for a product the drop down selector gets cut because it does not overflow past the container DIV (class=product-field-display).
Furthemore the containing DIV shows a slider on the right (see the attachment).

One possible solution would be to set a min-height in the CSS file, something like:

but in this case the add-to-cart button would drop too low and in any case you cannot predict how tall the list would be.

Can you think of an alternative solution?

Hi,

There are 2 different ways to solve this problem. Do only one of them.

Method 1: Navigate to VM backend >> Configuration >> Template and disable this option: Use jQuery chosen for dropdowns in FE

Method 2: Open this CSS file: ROOT/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/assets/css/flexible.css
scroll to the very bottom and include this CSS rule:
