We created a menu link the Flex2-Category code and used Top Level Category. Select a manufacturer defaults to please select and page layout is flexv2.

When we view the page, the first category image links properly to a page that displays the items in that category.
The other images yield the following error message:
"Error: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ') WHERE `a`.`virtuemart_media_id` = `b`.`virtuemart_media_id`' at line 3 SQL=SELECT `a`.`file_url` FROM `mmp_j25_virtuemart_medias` AS `a` INNER JOIN `mmp_j25_virtuemart_manufacturer_medias` AS `b` ON (`b`.`virtuemart_manufacturer_id` = ) WHERE `a`.`virtuemart_media_id` = `b`.`virtuemart_media_id`"

We only have 1 manufacturer. It has an image. The problem persists.

As i notice in the error logs, you are using Joomla2.5 (which you shouldn't). The SQL query error must be happening because of that.

Did you also try to disable the "Show Manufacturer Logo" parameter through Flexible VM3 Template" plugin? Error message should be gone after disabling "Show Manufacturer Logo" parameters through plugin.

MAKE SURE TO DISABLE "Show Manufacturer Logo" FROM EVERYWHERE. There total of 4 parameters you need to select NO for;

- Category - ListView
- Category - GridView
- Category - MultGridView
- Product Details Page

For the benefit of future users, the SQL error 1064 was because there were products for whom no manufacturer had been assigned.
Make one up, assign it and everything works.
