Francesco Ursini	I need to manage the ordering for my slider by item id, managing as for category will be the best, i am wondering how i can achive that. Thanks

Hi,

You can't order anything by item ID, item ID is a completely different thing. It is a number given to menu items that you created through joomla menu manager. it has no relation to our module.

If you were trying to say "ordering by product ID", then no it is not possible. Since Virtuemart doesn't give products to our module with the condition of ordered by [anything], it is also not possible to order them by [anything] within our module.

And you can filter the products by category, just check the module parameters, there is a field for this, set YES to "category filtering" and then choose the category to show the products only from.
