Hi,
Where do you wan to show the YouTube video? Inside the "Product Description" tab? (OPIS)
then why don't use the "Product Description" field to embed the youtube iframe? You don't need to use custom field just to embed youtube videos.
Product Description supports any HTML line (including iframe) but some WYSIWYG editor remove the iframe lines for security purposes. But you can easily disable this, so editor won't remove the iframe codes.
If you didn't install a 3rd party WYSIWYG editor, then you must be using TinyMCE, so navigate to here:
Plugins > Editor - TinyMCE
and see the "Prohibited Elements field", and replace:
script,applet,iframe
with
script,applet
so, TinyMCE won't remove the iframe HTML lines anymore. So you can place the "iframe" YouTube video anywhere you want (within the product description)
