I am creating a website for a client (which is the user who has purchased the template: theoneandonly) using this template (cleanmart) and I have a performance problem.

As seen in the attached files (one is the active template and another template that comes with the default VM) I have a difference in load times 2 seconds.

Also 300Kb added to the web, so it goes from 770 Kb to 1045Kb , which is much percentage is adding nearly 40% more load

Couple hundrads millisecond increase (on server response time) is understandable but if it is increased by 1.5 - 2 seconds. Then it means, there must be something wrong. I need to be able to access your backend to figure what went wrong.

About the page size. It is impossible that CleanMart would increase the page size by 300kb. See the screenshot:



The reason why the page size is increased, is because with CleanMArt, 2 product pictures get loaded for each product. So the additional product picture is shown when you mouse hover the thumbnail. Blaming CleanMart for this is completely absurd and non-sense.
