I suppose you added "Generic Child Variant" to that product. Right? But the drop down list is hidden.
Did you touch this PHP file:

/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php

In that PHP file, there are php If...END conditions to decide showing the custom field or not. Maybe you touched the lines and corrupted the if....END conditions accidentally?

I can't see what is wrong just by looking at your website front-end.

I am glad you like the follow-up box.
It is not a module that you can find somewhere else, it is a custom made thing.

JavaScript is used for the functionality and CSS is used for styling the box.

It has a very simple idea, see here for the tutorial: css-tricks.com/scrollfollow-sidebar/
If you are little familiar with JS and CSS; you can create the same on your website.
