A rare thing occurs with the module, when I add a product does not get the icon, the total purchase (attached images), in the basket not show the photos displayed. If you load the page if the icon and the photos appear.

In another web (regalosdecocina.com) the behavior is different, does not show the total purchase, the icon with the number of products in the cart remains

To solve the problem that happens in here:
www.lebioc.es

Re-install the "Dropdown Shopping Cart" Module and Plugin. If you touch "any single" line in the PHP files (that comes with the drop down shopping cart), the AJAX won't work as expected. And i am seeing you have touched the PHP file and changed the way the module appears.

Re-installing the "Module" and the "Plugin" will retrieve the files back to stock and everything will work as expected.

The problem happens here: regalosdecocina.com

is a lot more serious. Because the Virtuemart Core "add to cart" event doesn't get triggered. I have never seen something like this before.





BY THE WAY, DID YOU MANUALLY DELETE THAT TEXT FROM THE MODAL POPUP?

Forget about our drop down shopping cart module, even the "Add to Cart" notification window doesn't say anything regarding to product being added. So this makes me thing, the problem is more serious. It might related to "Cache". What happens if you disable the "Cache" (both Joomla Cache and xCache). Does the issue remain the same?


-- UPDATE: after making several more tests. I am seeing that you manually deleted the text from the modal popup, which is fine. And the "Dropdown Shopping Cart" module works just fine. I added several products to cart, and i didn't notice any problem of "adding product to cart" issue at all. The number (inside the red circle) gets updated successfully.

You're right, I deleted the text in regalosdecocina.com popup ;-)

In lebioc.es I have not touched the php, I've only changed the theme3.css, which should not affect

I've reinstall the cart module and remains the same.

I am still seeing some different behaviors that proves module/plugin files have been modified.



Touching the PHP file, even changing any single <div> class name... will destroy the AJAX loading upon add to cart, because you are changing the HTML scheme. It is the case right now in your website (www.lebioc.es)

Please re-install:
- mod_flexible_cart.zip (module)
- vm2_cart.zip (plugin)

to your Joomla to retrieve the files back to stock (Backup the CSS files that you have touched, you can overwrite the CSS after installing the module and plugin).

You are free to modify any CSS as you wish. CSS touches are harmless in this case.

That's really weird.

But, you also noticed what i am saying, right?
Our module wasn't supposed to show the TOTAL: 52,00 EURO text next to add to cart icon.

Looks like, in your joomla template something else is doing it. I really don't know.. i need to take a look at the source codes of your website to figure out what causing that.

I saw your email and i will take a look at your website. I will email you back if i find something suspicious.

I just found the source of problem. Apparently you forgot to publish the plg_system_vm2_cart plugin. Installing isn't enough, you also need to enable it.

I published the plugin and everything works normal now.
