I just upgraded a site with a newer version and see some styling improvments, especially to the cart module which is great.

One weird thing though, when I am on a product page and add an item to the cart, the cart module pops open. Not every time, but quite a lot. And its annoying as it's Z index is above the normal popup so it gets in the way.


Try adding a few product to the cart, as I said it's not every time that it happens.

Just to add I noticed this only happens with products with no options. in the URL there is "#cart" added when clicked.

Normally, the Z-index of dropdown of shopping cart module should have been lower than the notification box upon add to cart button.
Right now, it is the opposite in your website and it is really annoying.

Actually showing both of them doesn't make any sense, either one of them would be enough. Since disabling the "notification box upon add to cart button" requires some Virtuemart Core Hack, i can't help you with that (we don't provide support for Core Hack modifications, but check forum.virtuemart.net I know there are lots of discussions about it)

But you can to disable that automatic dropdown of shopping cart module through Module parameters or change the delay timeframe until it gets disappeared.

Open the "Flexible - VirtueMart Shopping Cart" module and disable this parameter:

Auto dropdown box
(upon add to cart)
