I had a problem with the shipping & billing information side of things on the template regarding Error Reporting thread found below

Now i got that fixed with your help but theres nothing there allowing you to create accounts, add billing addresses or shipping address

Make sure "On checkout, ask for registration"option is enabled in VM Configuration >> Checkout.
