Hello Flexi..

We're getting ready to go live with our newer version of our site from the old VM and Joomla..
I went through to test out an order and everything works fine, except for shipping methods.. When you hit the button to select a shipping method, the swirls go around quickly on the screen and then go away.. No choices are shown for different shipping methods..
I tested everything and then did some googling before writing here... I came across someone with a similar problem that was using CleanMart... They suggested trying a different template and not using Cleanmart...

I have my current template with Cleanmart inside and that doesn't work..
Without the Cleanmart, it looks like crap, but I get to choose the shipment method..
Same goes for Gantry.. With it on its own it works great... With CleanMart embedded, Shipment methods don't work...

I've tried turning off the one click check out, etc and that doesn't seem to help either..
The payment methods work great with Cleanmart..

Do you know what might be causing something like this? I really want to use Cleanmart because it looks great...

Just a bit more info from playing around with this...
When I'm not logged in as anyone, I get a chance to see the different shipping rates... I'll include a pic..
The minute you create an account or log in to finish a purchase, you lose the ability to see any shipping rates..

I assume, you didn't touch the PHP lines in this PHP file:

/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/cart/select_shipment.php

Right? If you edit that PHP file, it is quite possible your edits has caused a syntax error. To refresh it back to stock; open the ZIP file (that you downloaded from our server) and get the original version of that file from the ZIP file. Overwrite it with the one you have.

If you didn't touch this file at all, but still this problem happens, then it means, it is a server related issue. Try this:

1- Open the "flexible VM2 Template" plugin (from your joomla plugin manager)
2- Find this plugin parameter: Hide shipping rates from Anonymous (it is the last parameter)
3- Disable this option

and see if it fixes the problem.

I haven't modified any of the files from the CleanMart setup.. I did copy that file you specified just in case and it didn't help the situation..
After reading through the forum yesterday, I also came across that suggestion to disable the hiding of the shipping from anonymous..
Unfortunately that hasn't helped either..

Just to get it done as it's the final thing I need working... I ended up getting another one page checkout for the site.. Everything is working with that one and the site has your CleanMart for the front end.. So I'm happy with that...
