Hi,
thanks for the response.
in fact and without doubt, your templates are really formidable and beautyful designed!
However I guess, you should think about making more user friendly templates for shoppers - not for programmers.
Did you ever made a shop for a little vinary or butchery with natural products - no software, no downloads, nothing virtual?
The customers of these companies are best ager 50+ and not skilled with PC or net experiences.
When these customers arrived to the cart, their odyssey is far from the end. In addition to the already complicated registration they have to select now payment and shipping method. After each selection, they are redirected to the top of the page. Then they think about, that it is better to increase the quantity of 2 sausages to 10 sausages. After updating quantity, again, they will be redirected to the page header. Now they have to scroll to the bottom of the page to check the order. Again, they will be redirected to the page header and no, they still can not order! They must scroll to the foot of the page for final submitting their orderl. Etc.., Etc. ...
Is it user friendly? I think no!
Your second solution for payment and shipment I have solved in less than 10 minutes including SSL redirections. However I guess, this should be standard in your templates at least.
Quantity update is still not solved. Is it possible to get a second checkout button on top of the page?
At least it's just a workaround. Would be great, if you could serve us with a proper solution! In an appropriate scope, it may also be charged.
Kind regards,
Teresa
