You'll have to add some module position code directly in the template

file templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php around line 911


replace <?php echo $params->get('productdetails_customTab1_content'); ?>

for example the plugin www.nonumber.nl/extensions/modulesanywhere

would let you use something like

<?php echo '{modulepos calculator}'; ?>
