We have a problem that Virtue-mart is not able to store the Address Details properly... We have previous address showing properly but the new address is not storing properly after installing the template.. Please help us in resolving the issue as soon as possible...

hmmm - this has never been reported before - I am getting the error "check failed: Unknown address_type "

On the VM forums this error is discussed only in conection with migrating from VM1.1 to VM2.0.. is this a recent migration from 1.1?

Can you try disabling the Puremart template completely ..
To do this just rename the folder

ROOT/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart

to

ROOT/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart2

Then please recheck your registration process or let me know and i will check it.

Thanks for your Reply, but when I apply your suggestion the virtuemart stops working and giving errors...

and its was working fine before applying the Theme... because we have some old accounts where we have saved the address for the users to check the payment part on the site....

so for Sure there must be some error after applying the theme..

In what way does it stop working when you rename the folder?

It needs to be checked without the theme but as you say

does this mean (I'm assuming you have upgraded from VM1.1?) you added new addresses b4 the theme was installed - this is not what your statement says.. it says you have some old addresses

please rename the folder and set your template over-rides to default - then test your address saving.

This problem has never been reported and there is no logical reason why the theme would affect the address saving routine - it is the native VM2.0 appearing in a popup.. nothing else..

all googles for this error relate to problems of importing VM1.1. into VM2.0....

Please give us the full history of this site etc - version of VM etc - we are trying to help you but obviously we need more than one line answers..

The story is like, we have updated the Virtuemart from 1.9 to 2 and everything was fine...

We have tested the Payment method and shipping method so for this we need to do registration on the site and and need to add our address so we have created many accounts for testing purpose and it was all working fine... and after that the issue comes with the Designing and I suggested your Template.. Pure Mart...

so it seems that after installation of theme only this issue comes...

is there any way that I can send you admin details and ftp so you can check it better...

Ok - sorry but the bad news is...

with all the Puremart disabled - when I try to register I get exactly the same problem..

As I said before - if you search the VM forums the ONLY references to this is to do with imports of VM1.1

There is nothing in our theme that could have anything to do with the registration process - ours is a template - it does not alter core routines...
