Hi I'm having two problems (might be related) with the vm cart.
I had it working but after trying a few different template posiitions it stopped working. I undid all changes but cart won't work anymore.

1st problem is when moving mouse over the cart, it wil not load the content but keeps "spinning". See image.



Second problem is when placing items in cart and then clicking the show cart hyperlink in the dialog box. It will give a 404 file not found message.

Both of your questions are related to each other.
Once one of them is fixed, the other will be solved as well.

What happens if you type this URL:

ROOT/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart

Does this go to shopping cart page? This is supposed to go to your shopping cart page, if it gives 404 error, then something might be wrong. It can be related to sef-URL, i can't be sure. Provide me your website URL and let me take a look at it.

ROOT/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart does NOT give a 404 error, it just opens the cart.

I just put it online, but, i'm still working on it and it should be in maintenance modus until most of the work is finished, so I don't want to it to be 'open' very long!

Can you please check this problem? My hosting partner just send me a warning because 'some' application on my site is causing problems on the server. I think this might be related to the shopping cart problem...

At first, i tried,
ROOT/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=cart
was giving 404 problem. But now i am seeing it links to shopping cart page properly.

I am seeing everything just works fine in your website now.
If you hosting provider says: there is something causing problems in server. Ask for a specific reason. It can be anything.

You might disable the shopping cart stylization by renaming this folder:
www.vinidelmondo.nl/templates/it_charity/html/mod_virtuemart_cart/
to this:
www.vinidelmondo.nl/templates/it_charity/html/mod_virtuemart_cart2/

This file name change will disable the PureMart influence from your Virtuemart Shopping cart module. (you will start using original Virtuemart shopping cart module)
