"Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in /homepages/............./htdocs/Joomla_2.5.4/templates/my_template/html/com_virtuemart/cart/default_pricelist.php on line 55"

I try to modify the file "configuration.php" at line "public $error_reporting"
but I have always the same problem ...

How to resolve it ?

$document = &JFactory::getDocument();
by
$document = JFactory::getDocument();

I am glad you figured that out by yourself.
It is a common problem in 3rd party extensions. Strict Standards info messages have started appearing in PHP 5.4 and the solution is as easy as removing the & (ampersand) symbol from the PHP lines.
