ive installed everything and wondering if an easier way to update the category's for step 5 ... ( ive got 800 category's all told to go through... ) instead of doing this manually 1 by 1..

says to go through every category and make sure default # of prods in row is "0" and the category browse page is no override..

i've just got 750 active category's...ugh!!!

simplest way is directly in the database

phpmyadmin etc - do a query to set

UPDATE `jos_virtuemart_categories` SET `products_per_row` = '0' ;

UPDATE `jos_virtuemart_categories` SET `category_layout` = 'default' ;

but back everything up first and test on one cat to double check I have the syntax and fields correct
