On our site www.chriscountryessence.com once you are in the cart and you go to save the the payment or shipping method it refreshes the page but when it does this its loading the cart at the bottom of the home page. I know this is doe to the SEO/SEF set up we have going sh404SEF/and virtuemarts native seo but is there anyway to fix this?.

Your situation is little weird (if you didn't touch some PHPs)





Anyway, here is your patch:

Open these 2 files:

ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/com_virtuemart/cart/select_shipment.php
ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/com_virtuemart/cart/select_payment.php


In both these PHP files, you will find <form .... > element,
Make their action="" attributes as: action="/cart"

Something like;

<form method="post" id="userForm" target="_parent" name="chooseShipmentRate" action="/cart" class="form-validate">

This should fix your problem.

Thank you that did work I replaced the code. I have a feeling it was due to the the sef add on we are using.

You might have assigned a "menu item" to shopping cart, this also breaks the harmony as well.
But don't worry about it much.
