First of all, i have noticed very weird situation in your website.
Look at the below 2 screenshots.
The screenshots are enough for explanation.
Thumb Rule #1: There shouldn't be 2 jQuery libraries loaded in a single page withour Conflict Protection.
Thumb Rule #2: The JS files must be loaded after jQuery Library.
Your Joomla template is breaking these 2 thumb rules to avoid conflict. It was just a coincidence that you notice the slider doesn't work, most likely there will be more things that don't work. You just haven't noticed them.
You should have your joomla template not to load that old jQuery1.3.2
Look at the template's index.php (usually located in here: ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplatefolder>/index.php
