Is there any blog style for this template?

It's my second template i buy here. First i bought the Asymetric template, wich has a nice blog layout. Now i bought my second template, StyleMart, but this one don't have any style for "category blog".

So, since i have the both templates, is there a way for me to copy the blog layout style of the Asymetric to the StyleMart template?

Unfortunately no.

Because Asymmetric and StyleMArt are completely different templates hence all the CSS class names, ID's etc.. all of them are different (their backend frameworks are completely different, as you might be aware)

But, SportMart is just StyleMart (they have the same framework) and SportMart has "Blog" stylization as you can see through here:

(it is not as aesthetic as Asymmetric's, but it is open to be improved though)

Basically you can take the CSS rules from the Live DEMO of SportMart and paste them to your StyleMart website.

It won't be the same, because there are some hard-coding in the SportMart template PHP files to get this blog layout, but at least it will be a good start. It will be better than nothing.

Unfortunately, since this is a "custom modification" and require some PHP modifications as well; i can't provide you any more support about it.

And there is going to be any update to StyleMart with some of blog layout?

I'm asking this because is not usual a template be so simple as it is StyleMart, and the price is the same as Sportmart and more expensive than Asymetric.

Actually i was thinking about buying Spormart but at last minute i change my mind...

To be honest with you, blogging is not very commonly used functionality on Joomla eCommerce website. People usually use Wordpress for blogging. (this is actually what we do on www.flexiblewebdesign.com/blog as well)

This is probably why we didn't care about the blogging layout. And most likely our developer has some free time to spend on blog layout while developing the SportMart. But the same customization/layout can also be applied to StyleMart by drag-n-dropping the PHP files and copy-pasting the CSS lines from SportMart source codes. I am noting this request for upcoming StyleMart.

But don't expect any aesthetic update for StyleMart until the VM3.x is released, which we are eagerly waiting it to be released, so we will start working hard and make our templates/extensions compatible with Virtuemart3.x and Joomla3.x
