We just launched ProWatercraft Racing on the DarkMart template.

prowatercraftracing.com/

It went pretty smoothly all things considered.

It is nice to see that a new website goes online everyday by using our templates.

I am planing to create "Real stores using this template" section in the template product page (for each template) and currently i am collection the websites.

I am putting your domain into my notes and i will definitely include yours to DarkMart.

- cheers.

I got a jewely and womens wear site on Coolmart launching in about a week.

I have to share a story. We are on the phone with the merchant services company because they have to verify there is an actual website before releasing the API passwords. I give the woman the test password (Joomla Site Lock, best launch plug in ever extensions.joomla.org/extensions/miscellaneous/offline/18971)

The woman on the phone enters the password and I hear nothing for about 15 seconds. Then, "Oh... Wow...Um... Oh yeah! Yes this is good. I will pass this along. By the way, where do you ship?"

I have noticed one thing in this website:
prowatercraftracing.com/

you shouldn't be using https:// in all pages because https:// decreases the page loading speed. (it is normal though, because an encryption gets involved)

But on the other hand, It is a cool thing that every body sees in the browser panel that both company, physical address and domains are validated. (I am seeing you/your client have paid a serious amount of money for the SSL-EV)

Normally https:// should be used only in sensitive pages (shopping cart, checkout and my account) where people type/see their personal/credit card information.

But of course, nothing is bad to use SSL in all pages, it is not just the ideal way usage of SSL. That's it.

I actually did that to get around a cart loop problem.

When you would land on the page you would get a system message that you needed to enter your address first. Then you would go into a loop that caused you to have to go back to register over and over. I was out of time so I thought, "Well, it doesn't happen if you are on the second check out, what if I force SSL?" and that fixed it.

I figure I would revisit it further down the road.

I didn't quite understand what the problem was and what you did to resolve it.
But i as long as problem has been solved, it is a good news ;)

When you started to check out, it would ask you to log in over and over again if you clicked the shipping selection first without logging in.

Ohh i see.

Yes, customer should provide the shipping address before getting shipping rates (if the shipping rates are calculated by the destination of the shopper -- either by ZIP or country).

Anyway. I am closing this topic for forum clearance.
