I have a site setup to display the products in category view using Multiview, for some reason there seems to be a 48 in there somewhere and i cant get rid of it. i have set each category to show 50 products but it is showing 48 ?!!

Im not getting this and im not sure whats wrong.

you can see from the screenshot that i have the default products set to 4 and it shows 5 (if i change it to 5 it shows 6) but i am happy with 5 so thats ok.





but the pagination box has the right numbers in it but also a 48 which is what it defaults to ?

Also related to this issue i am having the SEARCH module returns its results and wont show more than 9 products on the result page (ie - 1-9 showing of 1348 results so you have to page through each one - again i want this to show 50 products on a page.
I know you are busy upgrading to Joomla 3, hope you can get round to this issue when you have time, thanks

You should find where that 48 comes from. It is definitely coming from somewhere. Most likely through a 3rd party pagination plugin. Once you find the source of where the 48 comes from and eliminate it. Your "product per page" settings will be controlled by Virtuemart backend only, and your problem will be solved.

As i am seeing in your screenshots, your default product per page should have been 9 (because your pagination sequence is 9,18,25,50) the first number becomes the default.

The "products per row" is completely a different thing. It has nothing to do with pagination. It is Products in a ROW (not page). If you choose 4 for this field, in the GridView, there will be 4 products per ROW, in MultiGridView it will be 4+1=5 products per row.
(MultiGridView is always +1 product more)

If you want to show different product per page for Search page only (let's say; 9 products per page on category, but 50 products per page in search page). This is not possible via configurations, you need custom coding. Our free-support doesn't include custom coding.
