Hi the Zoom effect has stopped working after I have updated the virtuemart. I have searched in this forum but couldn't find a solution. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The Zoom actually work , but if there is only one image , it doesn't show the thumbnail unless you bring the cursor on the empty area.

It works perfectly on Firefox and Chrome.

hmm. this sounds like a serious problem.

Currently i am using MacBook, so i don't have IE. Therefore i can't test it. But i will find a way to run benchmark test and see how our Zoom Effect extension behaves in IE11. If it needs a patch, the patch will be made to make it works just fine with IE11

But in the meantime, can you please browse our DEMO with your IE11 and tell me if the same failure occurs in our DEMO page as well?

I noticed a critical console error on your website (ReferenceError: statusImagesLiveHelp is not defined)



Which is caused by the "Lazy Load" plugin
(www.devs.com.au/plugins/system/lazyloadforjoomla/lazyloadforjoomla.js)

can you also try to disable this LazyLoad feature and see everything will work just fine? The problem might be related to that plugin.

Yes It is the lazyload plugin, when I disabled it , it works perfectly.

The reason for having lazyload was it improves the page grade as it loads only the visible parts and save bandwidth .

I have solved the problem by excluding backgrounds.png in the URL list in Lazyload plugin.

I am glad we sorted the problem out.
If the LazyLoad plugin is a mandatory for you; try to find an alternative one. There are many different variations of LazyLoad plugins available around for free. Try them.

But you should be aware, those lazyLoad plugins are only for visual improvement. They have nothing to do with the bandwidth. Because even though the lazyLoad is active, all the pictures gets loaded when the page is fully loaded, but the below pictures get "hidden" (by CSS rule) until you scroll down.

You will save bandwidth only if you use AJAX loading to load the remaining content of the page which usually starts running when you scroll down to the bottom-edge. Just like how it is with Facebook.com newsfeed. Only this king of continues AJAX content loading will save you bandwidth, not the LazyLoad for graphics.

Anyway, i am closing this topic and marking this case solved.
