Joomla 3.4.7 VM 3.0.12 Newest version Clean Mart purchased 12/23/2015. Clean Mart was an upgrade to an existing version.

Product Descriptions no longer displayed.

If I disable CleanMart by renaming com_virtuemart in template/html, product descriptions are displayed.

Yes. That was it. Client wanted product description to the right of her very large product pictures in place of all the white space, not underneath which makes it beneath the fold and she wasn't interested in the tabs.. Had it working in previous release of CleanMart, it stopped working with the new Clean Mart Release. Any suggestions?

ohh, i see what you mean.

In the default CleanMart; the description that appears on the right-hand-side is: "Short Description" (below product-price, above add-to-cart button). The one that appears in the bottom is "Full Description" (inside the TABs)

Short Description and Full Descriptions are both different fields in the Virtuemart Backend. You can put different contents in them (Full description supports HTML, but short description doesn't)

If you want to show the "full-description" on the right-hand-side, then you need a simple coding modification on the CleanMart's product-details PHP file. Follow these steps:

1- Open these PHP files
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php
/templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/flexv2.php
I guess you are using the flexv2 layout for the product details page, so you can make this change only on flexv2.php

2- Find this line (use CTRL+F):
3- Replace it with this:
