Hi,

I would like to show the sub category products. It only make sense that the top category is empty from products and the sub category is populated, for example
Top category – Shoes -> No products
Sub Category – Man Shoes -> Man Shoes products
Sub Category – Woman Shoes -> Woman Shoes products

I see that these options are available on your completion (see attached file) can it be done with your product?

But not with the "Carousel Module". The reason why we couldn't do it is:
The carousel module was developed long time ago. Right after VM2.0.00 was released (I believe 1 week after the VM2.0.00 was released).

At that time, Virtuemart2.0 was a new component to everybody (including us of course) so we might have missed some cool features, because this kind of things are related to core structure, there are some other essential things as well, such as choosing multiple categories (which is a "must" feature for VM modules and currently the biggest missing feature of our Carousel Module)

But yours is a good suggestion though, when the time is right and the update time has approached. Your suggestion will be considered by the development team. If it is an easy task to achieve, it will implemented to module. (including the option of selecting multiple categories)

Regarding the "Virtuemart Modern Slider" - I don't see a parameter for the module width only for the height ….. I need it to fit inside the menu like I did with the carousel so the wide need to be set with % and be responsive. Can it be done with this module ?

In addition to my previous question I also don't see the options that I have in your carousel – to display by the groups of "top 10", "featured" , and "latest products" is this also passible with the "Virtuemart Modern Slider" ?

The modern slider module is responsive.

There is no point to alter the width size. The module will have width:100% all the time and fill its area (horizontally). The fixed values can't be used for "responsive layouts". (it can be used if you are using a responsive framework, such as "bootstrap", but not all joomla template uses framework for responsiveness)

If you insist the give some fixed value, you can still do it with simple CSS rule of:

So the module will have fixed 600px all the time.

2- Yes it is possible to show "latest products", or "Featured products" etc..
