I recently bought your shopping cart and it works great!
However, I've just noticed that after adding a product to the cart, everything updates fine as it should, except for custom fields.
If I reload the page, they show...
Any thoughts?

It is normal, it is also same in our Live Demo.
Carrying the "custom field" via AJAX loading has been eliminated due to the performance problems. We have encountered failure of adding product to cart sometimes or too much delays (because more declaration needs to be added to ajax request to include custom fields, thus cause more load to do by the server). Anyhow; we decided to remove that feature from AJAX request.
Once the page gets refreshed, the dropdown shopping cart module gets loaded ordinary (there is no AJAX), so the custom field is being shown.
