I switched from one of your older templates to Clean Mart, and now the "Ask A Question" tab is no longer sending emails. I watched the server postfix log as I entered a test message, and it never even made it to that server.

I did another test through the standard Joomla contact form, and I saw that message go through postfix and show up in my mailbox.

Sending emails have nothing to do with templates. (our VM Template, or your original Joomla Template). Sending emails is handled by the Joomla Core files and Virtuemart Core files.

But you should check if you have the correct settings.

There are 2 options that you need to enable through Virtuemart Backend for proper email sending with "ask a question" form.
