My website is in development on my PC | Joomla v2.5.9 | VirtueMart v2.0.20b | ZT Atten template | PHP v5.4.3 | FireFox v19.
I tested the website in both FireFox v19 and IE v 9;

The product details page is a mess when viewed in IE v9.
In IE v9 - when I click on "MORE INFO" on any of the shop products, the resulting webpage is a mess.
The problem is that more than 46% of our website visitors use IE v8 and IE v9.
How to fix this?

This is now the 2nd time of asking! If you don't supply urls to your problem pages how on earth do u expect us to help????

The only way I get you view is if I turn "compatibility View " on - why have you got it on?

As MS says -
Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10 have "Compatibility View", a feature that allows these new Microsoft browsers to display older websites in their original style.

But you can test http://www.flexiblewebdesign.com/virtuemart-2-template-puremart/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=5&Itemid=477 on IE9 compatibility or otherwise and it's fine

So the problem is with your template - but why view it in compat mode anyway?

Thank you for the education! I never even knew about IE's compatibility mode - I use FireFox and simply tested the website in IE v9. I have now disabled compatibility mode in IE and as you say - it shows correctly. Thank you!
