I have created a custom joomla template that somehow interferes with the functionality of the mini cart. The mini cart dropdown appears but after a few seconds it disappears without showing any products or messages.
Switching to the Beez template works fine but I need to use my own template. So I need your help to troubleshoot this issue...

I use Joomla 2.5.9
I have tried VM2.020a & VM2.020b
I have also tried JQuery Easy plugin but it didn't solve the problem.

Well - a little bit outside of the "support for our extensions and templates" but what I notice

Your call to get the cart is

46.20.118.12/~fstest/index.php/vm-front-page/cart?tmpl=component&_=1363947981613

where as the call should be

xxxxxx.com/virtuemart-2-template-puremart/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&tmpl=component&view=cart&_=1363948121610

look in that direction - missing files etc..

As I mentioned when I switch to Beez everything is working fine. So I assume that my template does not provide something that Beez does.
I just need to know what the missing part in my template is in order to use PureMart functionality.

I have followed PureMart's installation instructions carefully. The html folders of the two templates are identical since I copied the PureMart folders and pasted them to both templates html folder.
I have to add that I have combined PureMart with my custom made templates a couple of times in the past and I didn't face any problem at all...

If you're willing to take the time to look into this issue I could provide administrator rights to you.

I'm sorry - we are all busy people... if you've successfully done this before and now it doesn't work it must be a fairly basic mistake..
I don't really see what you expect us to do - I gave you a pointer - the parameters are missing - so are all the files brought across etc etc - incl JS files etc

IWe would just do the same - go methodically thru everything ... but as you made the template it must be far faster for you as you've already successfully done it..
