The mini-cart thing that give's an nice dropdown view of the cart content opens behind the other content and menu's. It doesn't work nice in Internet explorer 7. Other version of IE I still have to test. In Firefox and Chrome it's working fine.

People can't go to the checkout page because the button they have to click is behind other content and not clickable.

IE7!!!! I have to ask the boss our policy on totally out of date, buggy when new and got worse with time, rubbish browsers..

I'm sure there's lot more problems with it - we are after all on IE9 - soon 10 , and IE8 (which runs on all Windows ) was a massive bug fix effort for 7

I just noticed it on a pc with WinXP that I still use for some little things. I don't know how many people still use IE7, but the people who are can't buy anything in my shop. That's not so good.
I agree IE7 is rubbish.

Offcourse I'm using a nice MacbookPro and as little Microsoft-software as I can :)

Hi, see screenshots for browser usage - I really don't think that there will be a solution for a browser with a market share of 0.9%..

I have no access to a IE7 browser - even XP runs IE8 which is a vast improvement on 7...

IE7 was superseded by Internet Explorer 8 in March 2009.

If you have access to a IE7 install you can try playing with z-indexes of the cart div etc - but personally I wouldn't think you'll have much luck - this is why browsers are upgraded...

or publish the native VM cart module and use browser selective css to hide/unhide it...

Please take a look at this CSS file:
/1001fotolijsten/templates/2013v5/css/template.ie7.css

Looks like it is a z-index issue. Try to eliminate this ie7 CSS file completely (remove all rules inside of it) for testing purpose, and see if things get back to normal. Then ttry to find the specific rule that causes this overlap issue.
