TOPIC: display of my products always list view

k	I want to restrict the display of my products always list view, and can not find how. The results of my custom filter shows me grid view (option 1.jpg). I put icons present different views and thereby achieve my goal, but I want to present the results in listview....(option dreaming.jpg). Thanks for your help!

Support	Hi, 1- Please make sure you have chosen "defaultlist" as "Category browse page" layout through "VM Backend > Configuration > Templates" 2- Then make sure none of your category has no any "override" value. For this purpose, please see the tutorial.pdf again www.flexiblewebdesign.com/puremart/TUTORIAL.pdf and look at the 8th page. Regards.

Ah - I understand now -

if you only ever want to land on a list view - ( there is no storage of your preference) change the two lines below in
templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_virtuemart/category/flexv2.php

Line 212

from

<div id="ListViewV2" class="FlexibleBrowseViews"  style="display:none;">

to

<div id="ListViewV2" class="FlexibleBrowseViews"  style="display:block;">

and line 481

from

<div id="GridViewV2" class="FlexibleBrowseViews"  style="display:block;">

to

<div id="GridViewV2" class="FlexibleBrowseViews"  style="display:none;">

to get the little icon active to show correctly change line 31

from

$('#FlexibleSwitchButtons a.switch_thumb2').addClass('switch_active');

to

$('#FlexibleSwitchButtons a.switch_thumb1').addClass('switch_active');

tested working here.. :)

Thanks for your help.... but...

I wish to present the products of a single view: list view

when I call the products from the menu for virtuemart product categories, these products are presented in list view,
but ...
when I use the custom filter, which I have set to "VM Backend> Configuration> Templates" as listview, (VM Backend- Configuration-Templates.jpg) I present the outputs in search result gridlist, now I have the option available to my customers to change the view to listview, but I want to be presented in lisview than once.

this is what I want to accomplish: Always products in list view....
(Configuration-dreaming.jpg)

or.....¨list view¨ is the default option to present the results of search products

John	But that is what above does - have you tried it? and if you don't want the buttons just add #FlexibleSwitchButtons { display:none; } Cheers

k	if, I indeed they could, but to no result, I did not get any change. the buttons work perfect .. thanks... I still have the same problem ...
