TOPIC: Identifying Tag leaving gap on page

Identifying Tag leaving gap on page 11 years 3 months ago #1918

Hi,

The pages in the template contain this code: (IDs removed)

<img border="0 none" alt=" " src="www.flexiblewebdesign.com/say.png?extension=puremart&user=XXXXXXXX&Id=XXXX">

...above the page content. This is creating a space at the top of my pages, so I want to remove it. I'm concerned though that doing so may break something, as its obviously an identifier of my purchase of the template?

Can you advise IF i can remove it, and what files I should alter?

Hi,

It is a 1x1 transparent image that lets us grab the domain name that uses our VM Template in conditions like any pirate(illegal) usage and it is used for purchase validation also. I don't know how it creates GAP in your website since its resolution is 1pixel by 1pixel only and also it is transparent, it doesn't even create any DOT. Are you working in a live server? Please provide me your website where i can see. It must be something else that creates that GAP, not this tiny 1x1 image.

you might check this topic;
www.flexiblewebdesign.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=5&id=454&Itemid=234

that guy had the same problem you have and solved it.
You can try to follow the same procedure.

I have the same problem baby-graphics.com/educational
A CSS class of its own for that image would be useful I think.

First image is as it is now and the second one as the page should look like.

Hi,

For both of you guys can use this little trick.
Open the flexibleVM2Gloval.css file (or any CSS file that gets loaded in the website):

www.baby-graphics.com/templates/rt_fracture/html/com_virtuemart/assets/css/flexibleVM2Global.css

The general route of this CSS file is this:
ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/com_virtuemart/assets/css/flexibleVM2Global.css

then

Scroll to the very bottom, and add this CSS rule:
.browse-view {
    margin-top: -20px;
}

And everything should be fine.
