I have a problem with the image gallery on this template.
When i click on the thumbnail it opens in the new window. I tried this on 2 sites and got the same result.

Hi,

Try these and run some test after doing each of them:

- Open K2 Component (parameter) and disable the jQuery loading, have K2 not to load the jQuery at all.
- Uninstall the K2 completely
- If you are using sh404sef follow these steps below:
1) sh404SEF Control Panel / security
2) Anti-flood configuration
- Activate anti-flood : yes
- Only if POST data (forms) : NO ( this is your problem editing front page )
Anti-flood control : 50
Max number of requests : 50

- try this:
Open your configuration.php which is located here:
ROOT/configuration.php and add your domain name to $live_site = '' like this;
$live_site = 'www.yourdomain.com';

- and finally try this:
Completely disable the SEF URL feature from your website and let every page opens this form:
www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart...........


Try these, and every time check if any of them fix the problem. Then let me know.

Thanks for your answer.
I tried everything you mentioned above and still have the same problem :(
1) Disabled jquery on K2
2) uninstalled the K2
3) i don't use the sh404sef
4) set the configuration.php and that totally broke the site (maybe because this installation is in subfolder)
5) disabled SEF URL (still have .htaccess - not htaccess.txt)

Any other idea?
If you want i can give you the access for this 2 sites and you can investigate it.

I just did what you told me and saw that nothing changed.
Also, I have just the same problem on the other site i am working on (see all-market.gr/gl/clothes/coats/21/catalogue-1-detail)

it is working there. (i saw the source codes that the image is actually changing from this:
all-market.gr/dora/images/stories/virtuemart/product/leo-demo1.jpg
to that:
all-market.gr/dora/images/stories/virtuemart/product/leo-demo2.jpg
(once the 2nd picture is clicked)

but it is not noticeable since the additional picture also looks same as the parent product picture.
I have no logical idea that why it works here:
all-market.gr/dora/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=61&virtuemart_category_id=9
but not works here though:
all-market.gr/dora/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=productdetails&virtuemart_product_id=58&virtuemart_category_id=22&Itemid=528

Can you create a brand new product and lets see what happened with that product? (also upload some new pictures, just for testing purpose)

Can you also please try to disable the "infinite loop" option for slider by little coding change:

Open this PHP file:
all-market.gr/dora/templates/leo_gifts/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php

and look for this LINES (in 137th line):

and change them with these:

This will eliminate the "infinite loop" option in the slider (for additional product thumbnail). This might fix the problem you are having.

So, this is a conclusion...

Without changing the code
When a product has 2 images - this happens (opens in a new window). But when you have more images (and have to click on "next" or "previous" - there is no problem and don't need to change the code - BUT when you come to the first image again, it opens in a new window.)

With this code
it is ok - with 2 or more images

I will still test it, as I am in a hurry now, but hope that our problem is solved!!

Yes, you should edit some codes. (my mistake, at first i told you change it through plugin, but then i noticed we didn't put that option into plugin, but a manual coding is necessary for this modification which is not a hard thing to do though.).

once you add this parameter below (by following the instruction i provided in my previous post):
circular: false

this will eliminate the "infinite loop" option. I am 100% it has to do with this "infinite loop". This is why it works when there are 3 additional pictures but doesn't work when there are 2 additional pictures.
