Hi,
First of all, what Doctype you are choosing to validate?
The "cart module" that we used uses HTML5, it is normal if it gives some error or warning through XHTML validation.
But what those error mean? What would you get if you have a warning or error FREE website?
Being "validated" through W3C is really that much important? Of course it is important... but how much and what for?
W3C validation is good for SEO, right? This is why you care about your coding just like everybody else; to be indexed by google well. Or do you have a different purpose? What could it be?
"W3C compliance is an SEO factor to Google" is nothing but a Myth. Just look at the screenshots
