Hi.
this isnt a big issue at all as im not actually using any of the plugin features yet but i have installed it and copied all the files over from the update download and i have tried for instance turning off the Quick look or the Sort by and neither of them actually are turned off.
is there anything else to do other than install and enable the plugin ? it says i am using ver 3.1.

Hi,

You are using the v3.1 version of plugin, but your template still is in v2.x
it is not V3.1 yet. You should copy-paste the /com_virtuemart/ to your server.

Please make sure you delete this folder in your server
www.theclockshed.co.uk/templates/it_theshop/html/com_virtuemart/
(or simply change its name to com_virtuemart2)

And upload the com_virtuemart folder that comes out from the Template Installation ZIP file.
Then you will start seeing the effects of the plugin in the website.

By the way, the new version, v3.2 has been released, please download it. It includes some reported bugs fixings.

Of course you are quite right - mixed up my folders!
having upgraded to 3.2 on my test site i have some alignement issues in the cart which i manually fixed before, is it possible to create a custom css for this template so that these great updates you are doing are easier to implement without overwriting adjustments ?

as you can see here the LOGIN button and the FORGOT PASSWORD is mis aligned - 89.200.137.238/theclocksheddemo/cart and also some of the buttons text are the wrong colour in this cart page : 89.200.137.238/theclocksheddemo/editaddresscheckoutBT

Hi,

Open this CSS file
89.200.137.238/theclocksheddemo/templates/it_theshop/css/forms.css

Find this CSS rule:

label {
    display: inline-block;
    font-weight: normal;
    vertical-align: top;
    width: 450px;
}

And change it with this:

label {
    display: inline-block;
    font-weight: normal;
    vertical-align: top;
 
}

The result will be:

To fix the button color issue, you can open this CSS file OR ANY CSS FILE THAT YOU ARE SURE THAT IS LOADED IN THE VIRTUEMART-RELATED PAGES. For example this css file:

/theclocksheddemo/templates/it_theshop/css/reset.css

(you can use this CSS for modifications, so updates won't retrieve your changes.)

Open that CSS file and add this CSS fule:

div.FlexibleCheckoutForms button.default {
color:#ffffff !important;
}

And the button will have the "white" color.
