If I select to display 9 products per page and have say 36 products, I should get 4 pages of products shown as per the demo.


But what I get is just numbers that are not themed and do not redirect to the required page.


Have I missed something in the config' maybe?

Look for this PHP file in your website.

ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/pagination.php

and change its name to

ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/pagination2.php

Then you should be good to go.

This does cure the theme issue but the redirect is still the same.. not working. It stays on page one and the only way to view more/all products is to increase the products per page dropdown.

I've noticed that to get the pagination to "work" I need to, for example:
I have 100 products - select 100 items per page (via dropdown) then the pagination will work. It's as if all products need to be "loaded" before the pagination will work.

If I just select say 9 products per page, the pagination to the other product pages will not work. I need to select more product via the drop down to view them.


Any ideas there?

I just disabled sef in the joomla config and the pagination now works.

To fix the pagination problem eventhough the SEF is enabled.
Try this:

Open this PHP file:
ROOT/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/category/default.php
(default.php, defaultlist.php, flexv2.php or whatever you have chose from the VM Configuration. There are 6 different layout, and you are using only one of them. Open the PHP file that you are using in your webstore)

And find this HTML line:
And change it with this:
(be aware, you will need to do it in 2 different place in the same PHP file, since there are 2 sections where the pagelinks show off. One at the top of the category page, and one at the bottom)

This should solve the problem even though the SEF is enabled.

Unfortunately, this didn't work. I changed the php files in both locations for all layouts but still the same.

I have managed to get a temp' work around.
Setting the individual categories to display/step @ 100 (items) image 1
Reversing the items per page from 9,18... to 72,36... image 2
joomla sef is enabled

Now all items are displayed initially and the user reduces the number he/she wants per page.

Not perfect but useable.
