Hello I have loaded the template as per instructions but when attempting to display any virtuemart related pages it remains white, in the php error log I have found
the following

syntax error, unexpected $end in ROOT\templates\beez5\html\com_virtuemart\productdetails\default.php on line 649

the template is loaded on our local test machine

please advise

Did you touch that file: \productdetails\default.php ?

Apparently you have deleted one
<?php } ?> from somewhere, which ends up with PHP $end error.

Please take the /productdetails/default.php
from the initial installation ZIP file and replace with with the one you have now. The problem should be solved.

that is one of the first things i tried, i reloaded the entire template but still get the same problem,

have tried adding the closing php tags and worked, have same problem again with other files, looks like
closing tags are missing in most of the template files....

more appears as I try to make it work,

What you are saying is just "impossible".
Having one PHP with unclosed <?php if(....) { ?>
will result an unexpected $end issue. That is valid for ALL server. Including our DEMO and all others who have bought our template before you.

I really don't know what is going on and i really wonder it though.
First of all,

flexv2.php has these lines between 681-684, i am giving the line numbers at the beginning of the lines:

681. <?php if (VmConfig::get('ask_question', 1) == 1) { ?>
682. <div id="askquestion" class="tabcontent">
683. <?php echo $this->loadTemplate('askquestionform'); ?>
683. </div>
684. <?php } ?>

As you see in those lines, there is nothing wrong with the line number 683. But you are saying, it gives "unexpected $end" on the line 683. Very weird.

Just forget about the one you downloaded from our server. I am now emailing you the complete template ZIP file. Please use this one instead.

I have uploaded the new set of files and the same problem again, but this time by adding the closing <?php } ?>
to both files has done the trick, I still don't understand why.. important is that now seems to be working

Same here. I still don't understand how all the PHP files are left without adding <?php } ?> to the end.
And how come it is working in my localmachine, in our DEMO and all others that have purchased our VM Template when the <?php if () { ?> was left open.

It is a serious PHP issue, and it should have given an error. Weird! But since you got the trick and everything is working out by adding <?php } ?> to the end for your case. Then it means you are good to go :D
It still remains a mystery to me though.
