Hi,
In official Virtuemart, there is no "add to cart" button in the category browse page (if you have noticed).
But we have implemented that feature into our VM Template because people like to see it in browse page. And of course original Virtuemart doesn't have the "quick look" feature at all, no need to mention about it.
The AJAX dock cart you are using seems like was designed to work with regular Virtuemart (which is normal) so it doesn't work when there is an add to cart button in the category browse page.
There is a big dilemma rises here: Who is responsible for this issue? Who should provide a solution. We are, or the developers of Dock cart.
Honestly we are both innocent, because we are both assumed our clients will use original Virtuemart along with our extensions (which is normal)
1) We can organize our VM Template to work with Dock Cart (for browse page of course) but what happen if our clients won't use the dock cart?
2) IF Dock cart developers organize their module based on having an "add to cart" button in browse page, what if their clients don't use our VM Template?
It is a dead end situation. This is why you need a customization to use both our VM Template and the Dock Cart together without any problem in category browse page. Please ask a quote from them, and ask a quote from us to achieve what you are looking for. Who ever gives you less price, go with them. This is all i can provide you now.
You can ask a quote from us by contacting us through This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (don't forget to include this forum port URL as reference, my wild guess; it would be considered as 2-3 hours work to us, which would cost you around $70-$105 - we are charging $35/hour for custom works).
Cheers.
