I have noticed only now that when a user logs in, the button on the top left that says Hello and then Logout does not have the member's name next to the Hello.

Do let me know how to fix this.

yes it is a small issue that has started appearing in the latest VM versions. But there is patch for it.

open this PHP file:
/templates/<yourjoomlatemplate>/html/com_virtuemart/user/login.php

and find this line:

change it with this:

Can you do something so that this does not happen?
