I cant get the v2 style template to show on the category listing page

It works on the manufacture listing. See man-listing.jpg

I have also attached a screen shot of the template settings.

How can I made the category listing page the same as manufacture page.

2. Also I want to make the image on the product page a certain size. Is there a setting for this. Unless I make the photo really big 1600+ pixels the zoom doesnt work. If I upload it smaller the picture looks good but the zoom doesnt work

There are 3 places that you can set "Category" layout and there is a priority going on (one place can override the other) So if you set the category as "default" for one place, then it will override the category-layout no matter what you chose via Virtuemart Configuration >> Template

These are the places where you can set category layout (based on their priorities)

#1 Priority: Joomla Menu Item (when you create a menu item using a "VM - Category" type, you are able to choose the layout from the parameters. This will override all the others, so make sure "No Override" is selected.





#2 Priority: Navigate to "Virtuemart Backend >> Product Categories" and click any of the category. Scroll down and you will see the "Category Layout", make sure "No Override" is selected. (do this for all categories to remove the override for all of them)




#3 Priority: This is the place where you took screenshot (Virtuemart Configuration >> Templates). What ever layout you choose here, will be effective in all category (unless there is no overriding for any particular category)


About your "Image" problem. I need to see your website. You should upload LARGE pictures, so the ZoomEffect would work efficiently. You can use CSS to reduce the size of picture on product details page, so it won't look so big. I need to see your website to provide you the CSS patch. Provide me 2 product details URLs from your website; where one of them has small picture, and one of them has big picture.
