Hello and thanks for this great template!

I'm having a small issue in Chrome. Please see the screenshot.

Works fine in IE10 and FF and I do remember it working in Chrome at some point.

This is a quickstart installation and haven't tinkered with it yet. The only thing I did is fix a small typo in
templates/flexible_darkmart/flexible/systems/joomla/layouts/head.php - line 12

the <?php was missin the 'php' part so 3 css below it were popping errors.

I tried reverting it in case this was causing the Chrome issue but it wasn't.

Any ideas?

Our templates have been extensively tested in all browsers and configurations and 100's sold. As you say it did work at some point and code can't write it's self.. so unless you can show me this on your live site there is really very little I can do to help you.

It has to be something you installed or changed - just work backwards - check for JS errors etc

Hey John, thanks for the reply.

I'm sure your templates have been extensively tested, the attention in detail is obvious on the whole template. However a typo is only human. In the version I downloaded there was the <?php typo that I told you on the previous post.

Now regarding to the Chrome issue. After some more testing I found out that it only happens once I refresh the homepage. The first time I visit it's fine. If I visit another part of the site then navigate to the frontpage again it's fine. But when I hit refresh at the frontpage the slideshow breaks.

I've also tried it in your demo site and I get the same results.

PS: I'm using the latest Chrome, Version 26.0.1410.64 m

Hi, yes - apoligies - the version I use for all my testing doesn't show this (it's one version old) but I see the devs have made a change on the latest version and your indeed right!

Have reported to them and they will fix this asap!

Yes, i also noticed the slideshow failure in Chrome browser. I will deeply look at it.
But i should mention that, the "slideshow" is not a part of DarkMArt, it is not integrated, it is a freeware joomla module and can be downloaded separately through here: flexiblewebdesign.com/Virtuemart-Extensions/Flexible-3D-Picture-Slideshow
(this is why there is a separate installation file in the "One-By One" folder for 3d Slideshow module)

So actually it is not a DarkMart issue but instead "Joomla 3D Slideshow" issue. For now, You can uninstall the slideshow module and find an alternative one until the issue is fixed. But i will take a look at it more deeply. It might be related to cache. I can't be sure now.

About the <? typo issue. I glad you noticed that. it was an innocent typo issue and i just fixed it. Thanks for letting know. The reason why i haven't noticed that before, because both my local machine and the flexiblewebdesign.com uses short_open_tag=1
But some servers don't enable this parameter by default to avoid possible confusion with <?xml, which makes sense.

Hi hotsd101, unfortunately no.

Just for now, i would strongly recommend you not to use "captions". But embed your captions on your slide pictures with using Photoshop or any other photo editor software.

And i feel like i should mention about this:
Slideshow is our freeware module, and we don't provide "support" about it. And since it is a freeware extension, the update procedure goes some kind of slow with it. You might guess it though, we are spending our most of time for updating/improving our premium extensions/templates.

If it starts giving you troubles and you are not happy with it. Simply uninstall it from the joomla until it gets fixed and find an alternative one. There are tones of free slideshow modules around the web, check JED (extensions.joomla.org/extensions/photos-a-images/slideshow)
