Hi,

Because of the "Slideshow". We have used a different structure to show the LOGO.

The LOGO images are located here:
yourdomain.com/images/logo_white.png
yourdomain.com/images/logo_black.png

Attachment Pasted_Image_4_2_14__7_16_PM.png not found

Attachment Pasted_Image_4_2_14__7_17_PM.png not found

Create your own logo (create 2 different versions, for example: BLACK and WHITE) then overwrite your logo with existing one.
Also make sure your LOGO file is 200x60 pixel resolution (or 400x120 for retina screens).

IF you want to use a different resolution for LOGO file, then update the pixel values in this CSS file:
/templates/flexible_asymmetric/css/style.css
#logo a.logo {
	display:block;
	background:url(../../../images/logo_black.png) 0 0 no-repeat; /* Logo PNG is stored in ROOT//images/ folder */
	background-size:100% 100%;
	width:200px;  <-- update this value
	height:60px;   <-- update this value
	margin:10px 0;
}

Hi,

I did exactly what you describe here, so created two logo's using the names provided and placed them in the images folder. When I use the URL <domain>/images/logo_black.png the logo is displayed, but not when I view the site by just typing the domain name in the browser. In my case I noticed the style.css is not used or references on the homepage, regardless if I use the slideshow or not.

Any suggestions?

Regards,

Richard.

Hi,

Did you enabled the GZIP (to compress the CSS file?)

If so, you should need to delete the cache files. Because the CSS files will be GZIP and stored in the /cache/ folder. If you make any changes to any CSS file, you won't see the changes right away. Because the old CSS files are compressed and cached. You would need to wait 15 minutes and the files will be re-cached. Or manually delete the cached file. During the development process, i would suggest you to disable all the compression and cache tools, so your changes will be effective in the website immediately.

Are you working in a live server?
What is your domain name? let me see it.

Support

Hi,

I've disabled GZIP and cleared the cache manually, but still no logo. The domain is trampolinerandkussen.nl, which is a live site, but can go offline for a day when needed.

Thanks,

Richard.

Ohh i see why.

Because you didn't publish any module in the head section.
Therefore, the "Header" section complete gets eliminated (so does the Logo itself)

Publish any module in either of these 4 module positions:
- cart
- menu
- toolbar
- search

Publishing a module in one of these module positions will generate the "Header" section, therefore the LOGO will be visible.
For instance, a "MENU" is a must. Are you planing to develop a website without the Main MENU?

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I did publish a menu now and the logo is indeed visible.
I'm not planning to publish a website without a menu, but this website is used as a satellite for the webshop, but we want to use the same template. Therefor now menu was published, but I'll create one to make sure it works.

Richard.
