I installed zoom plugin in my website, but when I hover, zoom is not working well. It is freezing while moving around and when I scroll my mouse. I tried to use patches and applying Joomla Plugins in virtuemart, but nothing happens.

If you open it in Chrome or Firefox, zoom freezes.

Safari is the only explorer that works fine with the plugin.

Hi,

I tested your website with Chrome&Firefox and Safari.
I don't experience any freezing. But i do notice 2 things.

1- Your website is loading 2 jquery library.
- one comes from K2 Component ( jquery1.8)
- one comes from Virtuemart Component (jquery1.6)



One of them should be disabled. Our ZoomEffect requires minimum jQuery1.8, therefore it makes sense to disable the jQuery comes from Virtuemart. (but it might cause some conflict if you disable it through VM Configurations though) so you should better use this plugin:

and choose jQuery1.8 from the plugin parameters.

2- Your Large product picture resolution is smaller than the ZoomBox.
There are 2 ways to avoid this happens:
A - Use large resolution product picture. (at least 900x900)
B - Decrease the ZoomBox resolution little bit (decrease the height so it becomes smaller than the large product pic)



ZoomBox must be smaller than the large product picture (at least 1px smaller). The picture must touch to edge of the ZoomBox (both vertically and horizontally). Because if it won't touch, ZoomEffect can't calculate the correct ratio after scrolling the mouse-wheel for digital-zooming.

As conclusion I did download the jquery plugin and disabled Virtuemart's Jquery Plugin.

Zoom worked perfectly and other plugins still working.

Only thing that it's failing is that the zoom works after we move mouse wheel. I will double check images dimensions and if that works, I will let you know!

Try to upload some bigger product pictures and you will see that everything works out just fine.
