I have formatted the short description and it works great - except that part of it is duplicated above the main menu. Not sure how or why. See attached screen shot.

You MUST not put any HTML tag into Short Description field. That field MUST remain string. Because "Short Description Field" is used for META Description on the product details page.. META Description tag is very important for SEO of your website.

FYI: META description tag is generated using short-desc field by Virtuemart Core, not by our template..

But it looks terrible not being formatted in this particular client's configuration. Is there a way to eliminate the Meta description field from being generated if that is causing the issue?? If you do custom coding, do you have someone who could give me a quote. This is very important.

I will replace the br code with the plus sign and review with my client. Maybe it will work.

The ideal way is to stripe the HTML tags from the short-desc field before printing it (HTML to STRING)
