Because I was having issues with my older joomla site, I went live with the one that is under construction.
I am slowly adding products to virtuemart, but for now I would like the store to be catalog only, so the customer can see prices but not be able to order anything. I selected use as catalog only in virtuemart configuration, cleared the cache, but add to cart button still appears. It does nothing, just spins a wheel, but I would like it to just not display at all.
I read an older post about a similar issue, but it was to add code to a CSS file that doesn't exist in that location (maybe it was in older versions) ideally I would not have to trick it with CSS, but when I throw the switch to use as a store, I would just uncheck that box.
In another post it was saying the template at the time didn't have check catalog only in the PHP, but I opened flexv2.php and saw that the code they were talking about it there.
EDIT: In productdetails there is no issue. The cart button is gone. This is when you hover over the product in grid view, the image slides up and a add to cart button appears.
