this problem can be fixed via z-index.. But z-index rules are little complicated than you expect.
Consider, this kind of an element tree:
+DIV-relative-1 (z-index: 5)
---SUB-DIV-absolute-1 (z-index: 6)
+DIV-relative-2 (z-index: 4)
---SUB-DIV-absolute-2 (z-index: 9999999)
in this case above, you would expect to see the SUB-DIV-absolute-2 on top, because it has a very large z-index. But actually SUB-DIV-absolute-1 would be on top. Because its parent, DIV-relative-1, stays on top of DIV-relative-2
Understand my point? The relative container's z-index is also important.
