Hi, When I publish the cart module, The icon shows, but does not work, it also breaks my unity slideshow? I and cant find any setting for conflicts with template?

I have changed all settings in unity slideshow, including loading no conflict, however only one or the other show, and even id the cart shows, clicking on it does not show the drop down, instead it goes to a "cart page"...

Please assist as this is a major issues, as this is why I bought your templates, as it works with "your joomla template"!

Ok it seems nothing is working on the virtuemart side of the website... The +/- does not work on the cart, the Product quick view goes to a new page, cart not working, add to cart not working?

If you click on one of the tabs, the rest dissapear so that you cannot see the oher tabs???

It seems this template (theme) is not for any website template? I dont wnat to go in a war between template provider, and virtuemart theme provider, I just want the right settings to make this work, so please let's not start blaming anyone for why it's not working, and just get this soerted out!!

You have provided no settings in virtuemart for this templates, So I am unsure of what went wrong? and wjere to start changing stuff?

Your website is having severe jQuery Conflict problems.





First of all, can i ask you why did you select v1.8 for jQuery via jQueryEasy plugin backend? jQuery1.8 is very out-dated. Bootstrap doesn't work on your website because of the out-dated jquery version currently, this also cause all other javascript related plugins fail as well.

Open the jQueryEasy plugin and have these settings:




You may select Migrate v1.4.1 as well (which is the newer version)

Apply this patch and then let me know again.

Thanks for that Info, I have set the Jquery as requested. Since I dont know Jquery at all (I installed this because of another support issue found elsewehere on the site), and why does Jquery say 1.8 is the "(latest version)"... this is where the confusion came in... however.

This fix did not sort out the issue on my site. Thetabs still dissapear (however I hink this is a css issue, and will have to look into it further): Product Page Link

As i am seeing, some of the jQuery problems are vanished; but you are still suffering from jquery conflict.
(one of the error is caused by this file: www.stormbiz.co.za/new/templates/foxuhost/js/cubeportfolio/main-juicy.js)

I sent this through yesterday morning, have you received it?

I just fixed the jquery conflict problems.

Here is what i have done on your website to fix the conflicts:

1- Disabled the "Chosen" plugin via Virturmart backend > Configuration > Template (because chosen is not compatible with newer jquery version)

2- Modified this JS file: /templates/foxuhost/js/flexslider/custom.js . I removed this line: SyntaxHighlighter.all(); because SyntaxHighlighter is not defined, so it is not OK to call an undefined function.

3- Modified this JS file: /templates/foxuhost/js/main-juicy.js and replaced $ with jQuery to avoid conflicts.

4- Modified this plugin: jQuery Easy, and lowered the UI version (because the time-picker plugin that Virtuemart Core uses is not compatible with newest jQuery UI)

5- I did some minor layout changes to avoid CSS override issues.

Now, all MaterialMart's javascript related events and functionalities start working just fine now on this page:

As you can see in the list above, all the problems are caused by the 3rd party extensions you use or your template uses (chosen, flexslider, main-juicy, UI). Those problems were exist even without MaterialMart.
