suddenly after i used your method to fix the jquery problem with the vm flexible template by installing the module and set the jquery to 1.6, the carousel does not display the products in horizontal mode even if it set correctly in the settings. It shows the products only in vertical mode.

I just found that when i enable the jQuery Easy the zoom fuction of the fashionmart template is working but the carouzel horizontal is NOT working as well as the Cart button i have on the right.

I had a quick look at your site - seems all OK to me.. can you be more specific with the "problem" urls and images maybe?

now I have disabled the the plugin "System - Jquery Easy". That is why you see the carousel to work correctly, BUT the Zoom function of the Fashionmart temlate does not since there is Jquery error. If i enable the PLUGIN and do all the steps as specified to www.flexiblewebdesign.com/forum-virtuemart-2-template-puremart-support/523-the-easiest-way-to-solve-jquery-conflict-issue, the corousel stops functioning horizontal and works ONLY vertical. I can give you joomla login details if you want to a private message to check it for your self. Please give an email to email you all the login details

I have the same issue. And i don't have that side slider plugin that you show in the attachment. I just purchased the Flexible Carousel and installed it ok. I can see it tries to build the vertical carousel but even that stays only partly visible. No effect what so ever i change to the template mode.

It seems that not any of the themes are working. Please help! I can send you login information if you need it. The site is currently on our temporary building server: asiakas.satea.fi
The carousel is located in the bottom above footer. It is set to Horizontal - Basic but it stacks the items vertically and hides all but one because they don't fit in the specified module area.
I've done everything i can imagine from disabling all css libraries and so on. No effect what so ever.

have you checked Firebug for console errors?

there are so many I don't know where you would start!!!!!!!

the main ones seem to be the Gavik tabs things but the nivo slider is also throwing errors

you need to go thru basic JS conflict troubleshooting - disabling extensions etc till you work out what is happening...

also swicth off all SEF until your finished developing the site - how can you see what is going on if the urls are meaningless?

there is also some VM errors like Virtuemart.addtocart_popup = '1' ; ReferenceError: Virtuemart is not defined

is this page a VM page?

Yes it's a VM site - the VM side is used only as catalogue to show products available.
We had a small issue in the site today but it's now fixed.
We'll have test those things you mentioned. Thanks so far for your help.
If we manage to find a clear error what causes it, i will keep this topic posted so others having the same issue will know how to try to fix it.

in a product details page, the "fancybox" is creating a JS Conflict issue.



This is why the carousel (and all the jQuery dependent applications) don't work. Try disabling the Fancybox (and use Facebox) through Virtuemart Backend:

Open VM Backend >> Configuration >> Template and look at the screeshot:



When you disable the "fancybox", your virtuemart will start using "facebox" for modal popups. That might resolve the issue, or not.
For the best solution, you need to organize the jQuery usage in your website. Right now, your website is loading about 2-3 different jquery library, which is not okay. One jQuery is enough for everything.

Normally, you should leave the "jQuery FIX" parameter set to NO. We have added that Easy FIX solution to our module for websites like yours. (websites that load multiple jQuery libraries at one page). But of course there are some cases (like yours) even the patch doesn't help.

You may take a look at this topic for organizing the jQuery (if disabling Fancybox doesn't solve the issue):
