How do I show the NEW badge ... have setit to YES

but no NEW image etc

There is one more parameter in the module configuration which says: "time period for new badge", you should set the time period, such as: 1 week, 1 montn, 2 monght. etc..

Then; from the time when item is added to Virtuemart until the "time period for new badge" it will have the NEW badge.

I also have trouble getting NEW badge to show.
There is only one test product in the carousel right now, this product is less than a week old, and as you can see in the attached image, so the time period is set to 2 months.

So what can the problem be?

which I reported to VM a while back - as you can read there (and my solution) the created date gets over-written in the product object and therefore there is nothing to trigger the logic--
This isn't in the database (it will have a date) but in the product object..
Just tested on one of our test sites (see screen) and you can see half of the products have no created date because of this therefore the new badge can never show

The solution is in my forum post and VM say it will be implimented in the next core release

This means that I have to wait for the next update from the World Cup and then the problem may be solved there.

It is wonder me also sales badge does not displayed, I know that it is disabled in the attached picture but I've tried to activate it but it did not work.

Could it be something else is wrong ?

If there is a date (not 00-00-000) and it is within the settings parameter (I assume you have set it as above?) it shows.
It isn't our bug, it is VM's bug...

But in the forum thread I showed you is my solution - it works... just do the fix... on the second page

unset($product->prices[0]);
